Business Resolution for the New Year

Well, it’s 2014. And so begins the resolution tradition. Typically New Year’s resolutions apply to the individual, but we have a different idea for you this time around. In addition to your personal checklist, consider making some goals for your business. We’re not talking about the typical sales and profit increase goals or employee training resolutions. What about a nugget or two for how you do business?

To get you started, we’ll tell you what we’re hoping your goal will be. For 2014, we sincerely hope you’ll consider starting or expanding a “portfolio business.”

Cliff Ennico, a syndicated columnist, author and former host of the PBS television series “Money Hunt,” says; “If you are doing only one thing to make money, there’s a risk you will starve or go broke if people stop buying that thing. Start “hedging your bets” by engaging in multiple revenue-producing activities. That way, if one activity loses its luster, the other ones will keep you paying your bills on time.”

Customer education is very important to us. In 2014 our goal is to step up that education and help you, our customer find new and inventive ways to use the equipment and product you already have on hand. From business-building seminars, and multimedia education to application classes and equipment shows, we commit to a higher level of learning in 2014 to help you build your business.

We hope you will join us this year and expand your wheelhouse so-to-speak with new applications and better business possibilities. Now that’s a resolution we can check off together.
